Three G Phone

Samsung 3G Phone

After a few years of having the same phone, I decided to see what other options are out there. I decided to go with a Samsung 3G phone and found some interesting choices. I had looked at a bunch they showed me at different locations but remembered one in particular called the L768. Out of all their 3G phones I found this one to be the nicest.

I liked that it was 3G because that is exactly what I was looking for. The HTML browser definitely kept my attention because that’s just what I need on a phone. I am constantly surfing the web and checking my email, so that was perfect. The phone had a 2.0 megapixel camera as well. A lot of the other phones didn’t have a very high megapixel rate and so that was definitely a plus. It was also a slider phone which is a good feature and the phone was pretty slim and lightweight. For someone who doesn’t like big bulky phones, this is a good choice. The last thing I liked about the L768 was that the battery life sounded pretty reasonable.

But to be honest I wasn’t all too pleased with the phones they had to offer. They sounded great for the right person but I was looking for something more. I didn’t like that there was no capability of applications like the smart phones now and although I definitely loved that there was a HTML browser, it wasn’t as fast as I would have imagined for a 3G phone. The phone also had a nice shape and look to it but I wish it came in other colors such as black or white! When I asked about it coming in black I was actually shocked that it did not. It only comes in silver, green, and a copper tone color.

If I had to rate this phone I would probably give it 3 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed a lot of the features it had to offer but wished that there was more to it. The price was not as bad as I would have thought either but I would honestly rather pay more for a phone with every feature I need so I get the full advantage out of having one of the new phones out today.

The choices Samsung had to offer definitely were high quality with good features but I was looking for something that would suit me best and sadly it did not fit what I needed.

Pink Mobile Phones Do It All

Today we see the uses of technology being redefined. Functions of different gadgets are being mixed and matched together to make devices more useful and convenient; as well more attractive. We see this most clearly in the mobile phone industry, where the pink mobile phone rules the roost.

Originally, mobile phones were strictly for voice calling. Then, more recently, they became popular for sending text messages. Today, the roles they play have expanded even more. With the modern cell phone now only can you call and text, but you can potentially replace all of the following devices.

Cameras and camcorders – a quality mobile phone can take excellent pictures, and some of the latest can even film High Definition video. Radios, Walkman and MP3 players – all but the most basic cell phone has built in the ability to play music for your personal entertainment. Hand held gaming consoles – nearly every phone has either built in games, or the ability to download games to play on the go. Television and Computer – with a decent data plan, you and watch streamed TV, and surf the internet on your phone.

What we see here is complete revolution where all our personal entertainment gadgets are converting into one handy device which we always have with us, our phone! This essential device is now part of our lives; and by extension now part of our wardrobes too.

Just as when buying our clothes we take great care to buy items that are attractive and flatter our appearance, we must do the same with our phone too. For this reason the beauty and sexy appearance of pink has become immensely popular on phones. People will always have their phone on them, so they choose to buy hot pink mobile phones. Not only do they get a device that is capable of doing almost anything; but it can make them look good too. A quality pink mobile phone truly does it all!

3G Smartphone

My husband and I each bought a 3G smartphone a few months ago. We intentionally picked two different phones because he is a software developer and hopes to create some apps for both phones down the road. I have the iPhone and he has the Android. I am more familiar with the iPhone while he is more familiar with the Android. I’ve come to my own conclusions and have also researched online to find the pros and cons of both phones.

The pros of an Android phone is that it is not limited to the Safari browser which does not have flash as this point. The default browser is faster on the Android. Also while working on Facebook, for example, the notification system alerts you to incoming voice messages, or email. Also, the Android has an open source access so anyone can improve on applications because it is transparent to various possibilities. And various carriers can sell the Android phone. It’s not limited to AT&T as a carrier as the iPhone is.

My personal experience with the iPhone will highlight what I like about it. It’s one component whereas the Android has a separate keyboard. The screen on the iPhone is a bit bigger than the Android. I seemed to have learned the functions of the iPhone faster than my husband has with becoming familiar with the Android. I love the ease of the iPhone, especially downloading apps from the app store. There are developers for the iPhone now so the system is not totally closed off to Apple workers. The sound that comes through on the iPhone is amazing. I have not checked out the app store for apps for the Android but that is equally good in both phones.

Basically, I love the iPhone but there are some drawbacks I don’t like. I have not figured out a way to leave one application and go to another without pressing a button to get me back to the icon page. Any page that is up when I am not using the phone will be the first one up next time. I must admit I don’t know if there is a possibility to change that in the settings so I can’t determine that for sure. It would be nice to have other carriers for the iPhone because that is limiting. My 8 gigabyte phone does not have a flash when taking picture nor does it have video.

However, the Android does have that. I would conclude that both phones have pros and cons but being a person who likes simplicity, I am totally happy with my iPhone. It would take some good convincing to give up my iPhone for an Android and down the road, who knows that might happen but not right now.
