The mobile market has never had it as good. The world is today flooded with demands for 3G capable mobile phones and the entire 3G spectrum will soon be lapped up by cell service providers. It suffices to say that the 3G business is probably the fastest growing sector of the telecommunications industry. The unmatched features of 3G applications have ushered in a new era of mobile communication, as has been the forte of this sector ever since the first cell phone found its way into human hands. Across the vast web of the online marketplace, <a href="http://threegphoneguide.com/finding-3g-deals/"title="" >3G deals and sales queuing up in droves to attract customers.

Reviews of different phones and services in various countries are freely available. Thus, the huge amount of data overload is simply overwhelming for the novice or first time 3G user. Even old users would find it difficult to get the best 3G deals amongst the hundreds out there.

The user initially needs to decide what capabilities the 3G phone should have. This should necessarily include after sales service with warranties and service centers located within the city. Battery life and recharge time is also important to consider, with the emphasis being on more talk time available rather than just total battery available time being mentioned.

Other features with inter-program transfer facilities, software upgrades, camera resolution and memory storage also need to be decided. Generally, a phone with about 6 – 8 GB of internal memory is adequate for most users. Once the requirements are in place, the user should first search for sales and deals available within the state or country and compare those with the best deals available in the user’s city. This is to ensure the user is not getting ripped off when finalizing what seems to be a ‘Perfect Deal’, only to find a better deal somewhere else.

Next is the step of finalizing the instrument or the actual mobile phone. A search or comparison review of the best 3G phones available is required which can be found on many websites. Here the user needs to finalize the projected budget according to the type of phone with the required features.

There are a host of fine mobile phones available which include the Apple iPhone 3G, the Samsung Omnia 900, Nokia N96, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 amongst others. Once the instrument is finalized, the user needs to fit the 3G phone to a contract deal or mobile service plan in tandem with the mobile service providers of the state or country which actually provide 3G services. A short review of the service providers is also helpful as this can highlight the pro and cons of each service. The best 3G deal would thus inevitably be a mix of the phone and service cost with a monthly or annual plan which best suits the user’s overall budget.

Generally, product reviews as well as word of mouth reviews from friends and family is the best source of information. With the myriad 3G plans available, it is imperative to choose one which suits the user’s needs and avoids wastage of bandwidth by leaving out spurious options. The user should carefully choose the service to avoid spam calls or messages.

3G is the precursor for 4G technology which is just around the corner. The tech-savvy mobile customer today has wide options of choosing the best 3G deals available and tailoring a specific plan based on individual needs. It’s a win-win situation for everybody out there.

After a few years of having the same phone, I decided to see what other options are out there. I decided to go with a <a href="http://threegphoneguide.com/samsung-3g-phone/"title="" >Samsung 3G phone and found some interesting choices. I had looked at a bunch they showed me at different locations but remembered one in particular called the L768. Out of all their 3G phones I found this one to be the nicest.

I liked that it was 3G because that is exactly what I was looking for. The HTML browser definitely kept my attention because that’s just what I need on a phone. I am constantly surfing the web and checking my email, so that was perfect. The phone had a 2.0 megapixel camera as well. A lot of the other phones didn’t have a very high megapixel rate and so that was definitely a plus. It was also a slider phone which is a good feature and the phone was pretty slim and lightweight. For someone who doesn’t like big bulky phones, this is a good choice. The last thing I liked about the L768 was that the battery life sounded pretty reasonable.

But to be honest I wasn’t all too pleased with the phones they had to offer. They sounded great for the right person but I was looking for something more. I didn’t like that there was no capability of applications like the smart phones now and although I definitely loved that there was a HTML browser, it wasn’t as fast as I would have imagined for a 3G phone. The phone also had a nice shape and look to it but I wish it came in other colors such as black or white! When I asked about it coming in black I was actually shocked that it did not. It only comes in silver, green, and a copper tone color.

If I had to rate this phone I would probably give it 3 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed a lot of the features it had to offer but wished that there was more to it. The price was not as bad as I would have thought either but I would honestly rather pay more for a phone with every feature I need so I get the full advantage out of having one of the new phones out today.

The choices Samsung had to offer definitely were high quality with good features but I was looking for something that would suit me best and sadly it did not fit what I needed.

There are many 3G phones out there, and the list keeps increasing. They have proven to be very useful and highly reliable. I am currently using the Droid Eris, which runs on the Andriod platform. I love this phone! It is sleek, compact and easy to use.

The sound quality is great for both me and the person I am speaking to. It fits very well in a pocket or purse and doesn’t take up a lot of room. And The battery life on it is spectacular compared to past phones that I have used! I had the G1 from T-Mobile for about a year before I got this phone and I like the Eris a lot more. I was skeptical at first about using the touch-screen keyboard, but have found it very easy to use and accurate. I love the predicted text in the keyboard function which tries to guess which word you are trying to type. From my past experience with T9 and other predicted text programs, I didn’t think it would be very accurate, but I was proven wrong. It has helped me out on many occasions when I accidentally type one letter wrong.

The camera and video recorder on the Eris are very good quality. The SD card holds quite a bit of information, although I would like to see a larger gig capacity on them in future versions. I also like that it has a standard headphone jack and is compatible with most headphones and auxiliary connections.

Also, with the separate headphone jack, you can charge the phone and listen to music at the same time. The Android system on the Eris is hands down the best. Anyone can make an application and there are plenty that are free to download. There are only a handful of apps that I have actually purchased: the majority of them are free. This system also makes for a wide variety of apps, even on the same subject, so you can find exactly the features that you are looking for specifically.

I also like the compatibility with Google. I can receive my e-mails from Gmail straight to my phone. If you don’t use Gmail, however, you can also stream e-mails from other sites (i.e. hotmail, yahoo, etc) straight to you phone as well. I like using Gmail and I find it simple and easy to manage my contacts that way. If you end up needing to get a new phone, your contacts are synced through Gmail; no more having to obtain contacts from scratch or waiting in the store while they transfer them via their machine.

All things considered, I have very few complaints about the Droid Eris. I chose it over the Droid from Motorola simply because I liked the design better and was familiar with the HTC line of products. I would highly recommend the Eris to anyone looking for a good, easy to use, reliable <a href="http://threegphoneguide.com/"title="" >three G phone that also looks great!

The Motorola Motosurf A3100 is the upcoming three g phone heavyweight by Motorola, expected to be in store for the Asian market sometime it the first quarter on 2009, it already has many people talking.

With so many mobile phones on the market these days, many people find themselves lost when it comes to choosing the right one for their needs. For those looking to get the most for their money, buying a Three G phone maybe the best option for many reasons, but they are not perfect. Past generations of mobile phones don’t have nearly as many capabilities as 3G phones, nor do they have the speed.

3G phones are much faster for browsing the internet and data transfer, due to the much better technology and network the phones use. They are even fast enough for advanced feature like video conferencing and watching streaming video clips online from webpages like Youtube. This phone network is able to reach speeds as fast as 2Mbps, which is much faster than previous generations of mobile phones.

Another benefit is that they work on a higher bandwidth, making them far superior in the ability to connect anywhere on the planet, even in very remote locations or in dense forests. With this phone, you never have to worry about getting a signal or losing a call. They can even be used in airplanes, hospitals and even in a spacecraft.

Most, if not all, 3G phones come with built in digital cameras as well. These are usually in the three megapixel range, which makes them great for many common picture taking situations. For extra memory, they normally have a microSD slot, which means endless space.

The only real problems with them is that, because they have many high-tech features, they tend to drain batteries rather fast compared to previous generation mobile phones. Some of the features like video conferencing, can only be used with other owners of 3G phones. Because they are new to the market, some of the third party software available is still a little glitchy. And the last major problem is, with all the advanced technology and features, etc, they tend to cost a little more than previous generation phones.

Considering all that, it would seem that this is the mobile phones of choice, now it’s just a matter of which one to buy.

The three G phone phones are a pretty recent addition to the mobile phone landscape in the United States and are based on the 3G (3rd Generation) networking standards of the ITU (International Telecommunication Union). The <a href="http://threegphoneguide.com/"title="" >Three G phone is also called the IMT-2000 standard in other parts of the world.

Simply put, the 3G standard allows phone companies to offer a wider variety of services to their customers than the previous 2.5G standard allowed. The first 3G network was established in Japan and went live in 2001 followed by Korea and the United Kingdom. The first use of 3G in the United States followed in 2003. Because of the more efficient size of the bandwidth provided, this new standard allows operators to offer better quality of service, video calls and broadband data speeds of 14.4 mbits/s under perfect conditions. This speed is not guaranteed with most contracts and can be less if you are walking, or moving quickly in a vehicle.

The adoption of the 3G standard in the United States has been quick and several carriers now offer phones and calling plans to take advantage of this standard. Another advantage of a 3g enabled phone is that since this is a worldwide standard, you can easily roam to other regions and countries with your phone on other networks. Additional rates will apply with the roaming, but it’s still nice to be able to use a phone you’re familiar with when traveling rather than renting one.

Because this has been an established standard for some time, there is a wide universe of phones available as well for 3g that range from the very basic, to several models that incorporate advanced features like texting with full QWERTY keyboards, video download, and even GPS functionality. This last feature is really nice because it allows you to use the phone for driving directions in a pinch.

Finally, the 3G phones use a SIM card that contains your account information and phone number, along with contacts or other data you may have saved. This is nice because it allows you to easily slide this SIM card into another unlocked 3G phone and use it immediately. Also, you can buy local SIM cards from other countries to use when you are traveling in your phone to help reduce calling costs especially if you’re using cell phone family plans.

All things considered, the 3G standard provides for a lot of advanced features over previous standards. The phone manufacturers and carriers are using these features in their services and phones and making the basic handset you had a few years ago infinitely more functional.
